3. Click on "Request Help". The next figure shows what should appear on your screen.
4. Type the name of the computer you are requesting help for in the box to the right of "Name." The name of your computer should be on a sticker located on the front of the tower and should be MSOE followed by three numbers (ex. MSOE123). Then click "Continue with Name."
5. You will see a screen asking you to confirm the computer you are requesting help for(see the following figure). If the correct computer has been selected, click on its name (it should be in blue letters). If it is the incorrect computer, click the Back button in your browser.
6. Next, you will see the Tech Request form (see the following figure). Type your name in the Name box and your e-mail address in the E-Mail box. To receive e-mail updates regarding your request, leave the box checked. If you do not want to receive e-mail updates regarding your request, click the check box to remove the check.

7. Describe the problem with as much detail as possible, or, if you are requesting a software install, be sure to type which program you want installed.
8. Click on the down arrow next to the word "Normal" to assign a priority to your request (Very high, High, Normal , Low, or Very Low).
9. If you want to give permission to the computer tech to come in and work on your machine when you are not in the room, please click the box next to "Check box to permit techs to enter when you are not present". A check should appear in the box.
10. Once you have written your request, click "Preview Job". The following figure shows what should appear once you choose to preview your job.

11. Please review the information to make sure it is correct. If it is incorrect or you want to add more information, click "Re-edit Job". If you are satisfied with your request, click "Add job."
12. The following figure shows the screen you will get next, with the message "That tracking job has been placed into the database." Your request has been added and you don't need to do anything else. You can close the window or continue in Internet Explorer.
